K. E. "GUS" MYERS
President
 

Mr. Myers' early-career experience is based in construction and project management activities in the construction industry. Thereafter, Mr. Myers transitioned to Operations of nuclear facilities. Throughout the years, he has continued his experience in Operations, Management and Remediation of nuclear facilities in the U.S., the U.K. and Canada.  Mr. Myers founded Babcock Services, Inc., in 1998.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Washington University.

 



PHIL GALLAGHER
Senior Vice President, CFO

Mr. Gallagher is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, with a B.S. Degree in civil engineering and construction management.  He has more than 25 years of engineering experience, including 15 years project management experience on engineering and construction tasks that include new facilities, renovations, remodels, and retrofits of existing industrial and office buildings, roads, plant upgrades, utilities infrastructure, and waste water disposal systems.  Mr. Gallagher has extensive experience in the design and construction of facilities used for the treatment and storage of nuclear materials and fuel.  He also has a strong background in the area of land reuse and Brownfield development.  He has previously worked for the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, Westinghouse Idaho Nuclear Company, Kaiser Engineers and some small engineering and environmental consulting firms.  Mr. Gallagher joined BSI in 2001 as a Program Manager.  Since that time, he has assumed responsibility for the day to day contract and financial operations of the company.  In his current roles as Senior Vice President, he oversees the growth and expansion of Babcock Services.
 


 

RON COLE
Senior Vice President, Operations

Ron Cole serves as a Senior VP for BSI's commercial and remediation projects in the U.S., U.K. and, Canada.  In this role, he is responsible for all operational aspects of major projects – interface with customers, contract negotiation, project management, and hands-on oversight of all technical and functional areas including safety, quality, human resources, scheduling, and cost control. Mr. Cole specializes in radioactive and hazardous waste remediation, decommissioning, and closure projects for public and private sector clients.  His recent project management experience includes successful remediation services for the Maine Yankee Decommissioning Project, Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site Closure; Idaho National Laboratory Expedited Facility Closure; Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station Deferred Site Clearance and the Bruce Power Restart Project.   He is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill and West Virginia University with over 25 years experience in project execution and waste management and processing.  Mr. Cole joined BSI in 2005. 

 


 

W. J. "WALLY" KENNEDY
Vice President, Hanford

 

Mr. Kennedy, a graduate of Washington State University, has spent the last 27 years supporting a wide range of DOE projects.  His operations experience includes Reactor Operations, Chemical Separations, Tank Waste Remediation, and Supplemental Waste Treatment.  For the last 19 years, Mr. Kennedy has held a wide variety of management positions, the last 5 years as an employee of BSI.  Mr. Kennedy is currently managing Babcock Services contract with CHPRC providing professional services to Hanford's Plateau Remediation Contract.

 



DAVID WOJTKOWIAK

Mr. Wojtkowiak has over 30 years of broad based experience in positions of increasing responsibility associated with project and program management, applied radiation protection, radiological engineering, corporate operations, and personnel management.  He has demonstrated an ability to quickly recognize solutions to complex issues in highly technical areas and present solutions acceptable to all levels of an organization.  Mr. Wojtkowiak has provided contract services in support of nuclear facility decommissioning, application of Final Status Survey and License Termination protocols using MARSSIM as well as NUREG 5849, NRC byproduct material license compliance and radiation protection program development and evaluation and/or upgrade in support of the implementation of 10 CFR 20 and 10 CFR 835.  He has provided guidance in the development of commercial and government marketing strategies and preparation of successful contract proposals.  Mr. Wojtkowiak has held the position of Radiation Safety Officer, Radiological Engineer, FSS Engineer, Project Manager and Radiation Protection Supervisor.  He was responsible for the overall implementation and management of a corporate occupational radiation protection program.  In addition, he was assigned as the Radiation Protection Supervisor for the first major commercial decommissioning in the U.S. at the Shoreham facility.  Mr. Wojtkowiak has acted as corporate site coordinator at multiple facilities in addition to providing applied radiation protection services to 11 different commercial nuclear power plants throughout the nation.  Mr. Wojtkowiak has been with BSI for 8 years and is the company's Director of Nuclear Operations.
